About the Author

I, the author, editor, and photographer, Violet, love the LORD, but I did not begin writing in order to put the focus on me but rather, on God. I will mention that I attended Christian School when I was little, have studied Scripture my entire life, studied various religions in college with a prayerfully open-mind, had a rough childhood and even rougher adulthood, but my life has been riddled with tragedies and at Least equally blessed with miracles. I have known loss from a young age and have experienced it time and time again, but rather than dwell on the past, I prefer to move on and encourage. I have also known all too well what it is to be betrayed, but rather than gossip, I would rather forgive, and if you want to know more personal details about me, perhaps they will come out over time when it feels more natural and comfortable, but preferably not for another decade or two on too many intimate details, if ever. After all, I would hate to unintentionally step on anyone's toes for one thing!!!

Now back to the real author, God. What can we say of Him?
"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1).
